The American Advertising Federation-Northern Illinois has named Chris Kelley, Principal of V2 Marketing Communications, Inc., as the 2016 AAF Silver Medal Award winner, during the AAF-Northern Illinois annual American Advertising Awards gala at Prairie Street Brewhouse in Rockford on Thursday, February 18.
The AAF Silver Medal Award is part of the national American Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal program that recognizes men and women who have made an outstanding contribution to their company and who have been active in furthering the standards of the advertising industry, demonstrated creative excellence, and shown responsibility in areas of social concerns.
“When we held our committee meeting to select the 2016 Silver Medal recipient, Chris Kelley was the unanimous selection to be the 2016 honoree,” remarked Brian Reck, AAF-Northern Illinois President.
“Chris has a long list of contributions to the advertising industry and is involved in many community organizations.”
Recognized for his community and civic leadership, Kelley is active in area economic development organizations, including Rockford MELD and River District Association as Vice President.
Chris has served as board member and president of the American Advertising Federation-Northern Illinois. He has also served on the district AAF board as Lieutenant Governor, and Governor in 2004 and 2009. He also served as AAF Central Region Chair in 2010.
